Education is one of the most important things we can ever give ourselves. Thanks to technology and 21st century innovation, that gift is much easier to receive now that the internet exists.

There are online colleges all over the internet, but which ones are credible? Who has the best reputation? Who delivers the best results?

I scoured the web myself and was successful in my opinion, on finding the top three accredited online universities and wanted to share this information with you, our readers!

1. Kaplan University

- Degrees Available: Associates, Bachelors, and Masters.

- Offers part-time and full-time class loads.

- Kaplan University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

- Average Tuition: $320 – $395 per credit hour

- Majors Offered: Business Managing and Marketing, Computer and Information Sciences, Education, Health Professions and Clinical Sciences, Law and Legal Studies, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies, and Security and Protective Services.

Overall Student Review Highlights:

- Great professors, knowledgeable and helpful. Can be reached easily and are very willing to help students. Friendly, REAL staff.

- Any issues that arise are easily taken care of such as issues with financial aid.

- Courses range in difficulty; the exams, papers and assignments are nothing to joke about–very difficult and require real effort. Quizzes on the other hand seem to be recognized as simple.

- This school requires a lot of effort and hard work so be prepared to work hard for your grades.

- Books are included in the tuition.

- Enrollment can be somewhat of a hassle since everything is electronic.

2. Phoenix University

- Degrees Available: Associates, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral.

- Offers part-time and full-time classloads.

- University of Phoenix is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.

- Average Tuition: $14,500

- Majors Offered: Arts and Sciences, Business and Management, Criminal Justice and Security, Education, Human Services, Nursing and Health Care, Psychology, and Technology.

Overall Student Review Highlights:

- Extremely helpful instructors, very knowledgable; they want to help you succeed.
- You get out what you put in, no one will do the work for you. Must be self-motivated.
- Class discussions can be thought-provoking, interactive and informative.
- Professors take the time to get you organized with well-thought out syllabi with a list of specific requirements so you always
know exactly what is due and when it is due. Grading rubrics are also very helpful and informative when it comes to completing assignments.
- Professors do not hold you hand and you are taught to lead, not follow.
- Some heavy writing in your courses may be required.

3. American Intercontinental University

- Degrees Available: Associates, Bachelors, and Masters

- AIU is a results-focused university that accommodates you and your lifestyle with quality undergraduate and graduate degree programs that offer you. This school is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.

- Tuition: $15,710 – $27,986

- Majors Offered: School of Business, School of Criminal Justice, School of Design, School of Information Technology, and School of Education.

Overall Student Review Highlights:

- Given a lot of freedom to learn things on your own which helps to hone your independent thinking skills.

- Great research paper and discussion board topics, thought-provoking and interesting. Offers you the opportunity to improve your skills and expand your knowledge.

- Wide range of interesting classes within each field of study.

- If you take advantage of the opportunities, you can make friends and form study groups easily. There are also clubs that can be joined.

Online universities let you complete or start your degree on your own time, so after reading all of this information, which school is right for you?

All three universities also have high success rates, their graduates have been able to find jobs and have felt that they their schooling prepared them enough to perform well.

These three universities offer flexible schedules, are reasonably priced and most importantly, let you realize your dreams at the pace you want to discover them.
