St. Patrick’s Day: The Best Cocktails for Your Celebration

It’s Saint Patty’s Day so whether you’re throwing a party or you just want to throw a festive pre-game, you’ll need some fun drinks to get your party started!

I don’t know about you, but I am Irish and I just happen know a thing or two about making a good cocktail, so I’ve got the best drink recipes to take your party to the next level.

Shamrock-tini

1. Shamrock-tini

This is the perfect drink for all you seniors who think they’re too sophisticated to drink green beer and green jello shots. It’s unique, it’s fun and it’s so easy, a monkey could make it.

What you’ll need:

- 2 oz Bailey’s with a hint of mint chocolate

- 1/2 oz vanilla vodka

How to make it:

- Grab a shaker (or two solo cups) and get to work.

- Fill your shaker or cup with ice and then pour the Bailey’s and vodka over it.

- Shake, shake, shake.

- Pour into a martini glass and garnish with a sprig of mint (if you wanna get fancy).

Green Mojito

2. Lucky Mojito with a Twist

You want a green drink, this is the perfect green drink. Not only is it sweet and tasty, but this Midori-green drink is definitely going to take your party to the next level.

What you’ll need:

- 2 oz White Grape Juice

- 1 3/4 oz Absolute Pear Vodka

- 1 tsp Brown Sugar

- 1/2 oz Lime Juice

- 1/4 oz Midori

How to make it:

- Place brown sugar at the bottom of the glass, throw in mint leaves (crushed, if desired).

- Grab a shaker filled with ice and throw in the rest of the liquid ingredients.

- Pour the liquid ingredients over the mint and brown sugar, mix with stir and you’ve got yourself a treat.

3. Simple Midori Sour

Basically, the college student’s dream concoction: simple, relatively cheap and super-easy to make; oh yeah, it’s also green!

What you’ll need:

- 1 oz Midori Melon Liqueur

- 1 oz Whiskey Sour Mix

- 2 oz Sprite Soda

How to make it:

- Grab a glass and fill with ice.

- Pour in your Midori liqueur and whiskey sour mix.

- Top with sprite, garnish with cherry; Enjoy!
