Tormented Teachers: How Cyberbullying Affects Educators [Infographic]

Social media and technology have transformed the way people bully each other in schools. While it’s widely-known that teenagers suffer from this new form of bullying, what may come as a shock is that teachers are victims, too.

In fact, a recent survey reports that more than a third of teachers say they have been cyberbullied—and there’s no protection for them. In the words of one of the teachers surveyed, “I eventually had a breakdown in the summer holiday needing an emergency doctor to be called out — as I had become suicidal.”
